Ahoy. I'm super chilled, but it's not really "Biking News" that KSRs have ropey reflectors or lenses, you'd have been fine to raise this in the Workshop, New Bikers, General Bike Chat or even Dear Auntie BCF section.

First, have you tried adjusting the headlight to point higher? Sorry, I don't know how on that bike, but it won't be rocket science to figure out.

If you've adjusted it and it's still useless then the next thing I'd suggest that you do is report it to DVSA as a serious safety issue.

Yes, I'm quite serious. If not you, then who?

Then I'd consider auxiliary lights. Have a look here:

Sadly, the links have died, but you're looking for ~900 lumen / 12W LED spotlights. eBay can doubtless provide.

That'd be another 24W of power, but you can make about 9W back by changing your sidelight and tail light for LEDs as well. If they work well you could even consider swapping your headlight bulb for a lower wattage incandescent or even a LED bulb.

Not that you should have to do any of this on a bike sold for UK road use in 2015.

No problem, it's a badly worded section and the first one that you see. You'll get more props from the homies (I'm so street) if you use the right sections though.
