Looks so easy..just momentarily compress the forks before the obstacle and let them and a little leverage and power do the rest. Just like going up a kerb on a pushbike.

It's not easy until you do it.

Is this what your normal 'trail' ride looks like?

(You weren't one of the ones that had to get off were you?)

As it goes, I've just been sorting my garage out and should have access to my trials bike (without having to move the rest of the garage out of the way first) and was just wondering about seeing if there was a trials practice on in a weekend Herts way - welcome to come along if I do do something.

I first rode Water Lane with the Southern TRF group back in the late '80s when I was on a little XL185SA.Water Lane has changed since those days and when I rode it during a Long Distance trial on the KTM,which is a far better bike for that sort of riding Wink Thumbs Up

Back then Butser Hill went straight up and not like it is now.Luckily it was hot and dry,but I have been told that it was nigh on impossible when wet and slippery Shocked

I fell off on a speed hump in the road and did my ribs about a week ago. Now that is worthy of shame.
