Does anybody know of / recommend a tyre shop in the Glasgow or Argyle and Bute area please?
I need a pair fitting to the ZZR, and would need a ride in ride out service as all my tools are distant to me.

I know there are dealers who'll do it for not mentL prices but I'd budget £70 rem, bal, refit + cost for new tyres.
Yam dealer off Pollokshaws rd. Honda dealer near to SSEC. Maybe still a bike dealer in Renfrew (MCS) they're not as far into town for you.

Most always you'll have to prebook but exceptions are possible.

£70 pound to change 2 tyres your having a laugh?? Dynotech eccosse in Hillington industrial estate or ride n fit in Paisley are the only 2 I can recommend

I've never paid more than £10-15 a wheel if i'm providing the tyres Shocked

I recently got quotes on a pair of PR3 fitted.

Stevie Brierton in Glasgow was cheapest.

MCS were most expensive.

Ride 'n Fit somewhere in between.

But then, Ride 'n Fit did me a set of Avons last year for my CX and they were cheapest.

So, probably just go to wherever is handiest?

I don't use Glasgow bike shops and anytime anyone says Black on a forum someone will say nah... White.

This guy tried to convince me that its cheaper to buy a brand new gsxr than it was (for parts ect) to keep running my old revere that I acquired for free. He also tried to tell me that they weren't that reliable and charged my mates dad ~£250 for a break calliper rebuild for a bandit (why not just buy a half decent second hand calliper). Make of that what you will Evil or Very Mad

Ride On are now only in Hillington Industrial Estate, they closed the Nithsdale St one last week.

Dynotech can usually do it if you have the tyres.

I was a tenner (or there about) to get a tyre fitted earlier in the year. But if I wanted to ride in, and get them to remove the wheel it jumped a fair bit. I think I was quoted something like £50 for 2 wheels removed and tyres fitted.

I ordered the tyre from MotoTyres and got the tyre delivered to Omnius in Bonnybridge. They won't take the wheels off for you, but they will let you use their tools and equipment to take them off for them to fit the tyre.
