You're British, you crave disappointment. It's how we function Laughing

I can't think of anything, other than the fact it sort of looks the part. Probably will be not much different to a CBR 125 with knobblies but with higher ground clearance, possibly stronger wheels? Longer suspension, and needs less work to prep for how you're describing.

Ground clearance, exhaust up and swept away, sorta bash plate , and wire spoke wheels will help a lot, bit more give.

Riding position standing up would feel more natural, than say my CBF125 which is pigging awkward as I have to squat. Didn't stop my friend using his though....

I doubt spoked wheels will affect the ride - if they do, the suspension is massively off.
Hit a rock and it'll bend rather than fracture however.

Way before it was vlogged, I took my race-spec zx9 with Supercorsas down a muddy green lane and did ok.

Quite a few XR250s selling for under £1k in usable condition on ebay.

I'd leave the CBTer worries to another day and go for one of them, along with a spare set of wheels.

Here's my Vara and a mates Sinnis, he's on standard Chinese road rubber, we did OK, but it was summer, we stopped off at Burton Dasset there but we were laning all day. Thumbs Up
