Hellllooo wide audiences of bcf! I come to you asking for thy wisdom about insurance.

Basically, 24 years old. three years no claims. cb1000 with mods.

Crash bars, panniers, handle bars, topbox, exhaust system.

Costing 115 per year, but compulsory excess is £350!!!!!! Evil or Very Mad

I remember years ago using a website that allowed a totally online way of doing insurance, buy online, modify online, add bikes online. It was so simple.

I CBA with phoning companies. Just been on the ringer with hastings and ended up cancelling. Useless.

Anyone got advice, sling it my way please! Thumbs Up

I don't consider them as mods. I use Carole Nash as they tended to have the lowest excess (for me).

The road traffic act requires me to posess a certificate of motor insurance for my vehicle.

I have taken steps to ensure I do so while spending as little as possible.

eBike did that.

They used to be great. Buy online, amend online, no admin fees, honestly declare your mods for a few extra pennies.

Now it's "give us a call!" and their only distinguishing feature is that they still demand a copy of your license.

Avoid.
