insurance renewal

anyone had good or bad experience with lexham, bennets or carol nash or MCE? swaying a bit away from MCE just because of the crazy excess for cheaper insurance

insurance is due for renewal soon, not much in them tbh between these 3, carol nash slightly cheaper and lower excess but dont mind paying a bit more for peace of mind if people have not had great experiences with them as i use my bike for work so cannot be without one if in an accident

Take your pick from them all. They are very much of a muchness.
I just go on which gives the best value for money
ie cheapest....

Oh and remember they probably all use the same underwriter. As they are just brokers.

Recently looked at getting fully comp cover for a bike, normally have always (almost religiously) in the past used Carole Nash but decided to shop around via Money Supermarket website.

It was a good job I did!

Carole Nash had quoted me: £465...???
Bennetts via Money Supermarket: £185...!!!

Both quotes for exactly the same Bike, Cover, Excess, Breakdown Cover (included) etc!!

So guess what? I won't be using Carole Nash this year! Rolling Eyes
