Doing Mallorary in April and currently got BT023's on the Blade, reckon they'll be inappropriate to use on track? Will most likely be running in Inters.

Did originally plan to buy M7RR's or Power 3's, but got a good deal on the 23's. Was an impulse buy and didn't think it through in regards to track use when I bought them.

Years ago I did a Ron Haslam Race School day at silverstone. All their bikes at the time used BT023s.

I was on one of the 600RRs and it performed superbly!

I use them on my blade and am happy with them but damn, I was surprised at how good they were on track as well.

You'll not be disappointed.

Just feed in the power, feel where the limits of grip are and go from there. The tyres are certainly capable enough for a bit of fun Smile

I had bridgestone touring tyres on my cbr600f when I did a few trackdays years ago. They'll be fine.

I'm doing a trackday on my zed in april at silverstone and have bt023 fitted at the moment.

I can't see them being an issue, I use them on my GSXR and quite enjoy them.

Just make sure you warm them up and sort the pressures out(standard advice) and you'll be fine.
