Picked this up thursday evening, 2001 ZRX1200R, fair few mods.

But to keep it brief:

ZX9R front end with K tech internals
JMC swingarm
Ohlins Rear shocks
Full Akrapovic system, stage 3 Ivans jet kit, pod filters achieving 129bhp at the rear wheel.

It's a lot larger than the Street Triple R, but has bags and bags of torque and usable power whatever the revs!

Let me know what you think.

Cheers!
Mike

Very nice, I was looking at an 1100 before I got my Street, still got cravings for one but it definitely wouldn't replace my Triumph!

How does it feel in comparison? I imagine them to ride similar to a Bandit 12.

I love the look of these, proper old-skool muscle presence about them. Much the same mods as I've done to my Fazer, I wonder how they'd compare.

Heavy...with a shed load of torque, quite nimble for a large bike. Sitting on the street after makes the street feel really small....Obviously wouldn't touch the street on handling and flickability, but for grunt, this is a beast.

Yeah the swing arm is pretty beefy, the standard ones are fairly beefy as well though!

This is how you modify a bike and make it look awesome. Love it.

It's bloody lovely and brutal looking too!

I've seen a few nicely modded XJR's with this sort of work done and a nice brutal muscle look about them too.

If I didn't have such a hard on for Z1300's, a Honda, Kawasaki or Yamaha 12/1300 muscle naked would suit me very nicely tbh!
