What, in the world, at the moment, is barring you from riding on two wheels?
| nasmoio wrote: | ...........A bunch of us scientists are working on their projects and I wanted my project to address only one thing, the safety and well being of a two wheeler. |
If we, motorcyclists, were so concerned about our own safety and well being, we probably wouldn't be motorcyclists, it's part of the attraction!

Smart technologies, you say.
Just another wanker with a smartphone, tuning out of the real world, I say!
| nasmoio wrote: | I am also here to ask you to help me do one small favor, I am asking you to help me fill out a small survey that would take less than ten minutes to complete. |
Why should I fill out your survey when you can't be bothered telling me, beforehand, what you're actually proposing?
| nasmoio wrote: | Your responses will help guide me into building a very smart system that will do what you guys think it should do, and without your responses I have no guidance. Your responses mean so much! |
Well if your "smart system" is anything like all the other crap with "smart" as a tag line, you're not aiming very high!
| nasmoio wrote: | The UK has the weirdest hybrid system for cycling and motorcycling that I've ever seen in the 71 countries that I've been to,......... |
WTAF does that even mean, what Hybrid System are you on about?
What is the point of all this?
Have there been hordes of bikers begging you to keep them safe?
If you'd done your research properly you'd have come to the same conclusion as everyone else who's looked into it, ie the biggest danger to motorcyclists are other road users, who are probably looking at their "smart technology" instead of looking where they're going! ____________________ "Everybody needs money, that's why they call it money!" |

I was approached by a man in a car park in Salford once. He wanted to sit in my car and have a little chat.
Imagine my disappointment when it turned out he didn't want to rob/beat/rape me.
He had an envelope of 5 pond notes and some questions about motor insurance.
Now, that survey, I did do.

I want to thank all the kind folks on BCF who have messaged me to support what we do, and to have kept our hopes up through this. You guys give us the motivation and the push we need when we begin working on coding and testing the platform.
As per one of the user advice sent to me, guys this project is not paid for by the university. We postgraduates are given a chance at using the very complicated and advanced computing clusters to do our simulation and programming on very very powerful computers. We never get funded for our projects,
I myself am funding it entirely till I have a working prototype, It's cheap and not expensive because it is a software and not a mechanical engine that I am building. We then present our projects to our supervisors, a bunch of professors that will foresee what we have.
Only a handful of projects ever gets funded and there are many many factors that create who gets to be picked. I wanted to work on something that I do everyday. I have lost people that I cared for alot who were cyclists and motorcyclists, and I am stepping up to doing something about it, in my field.
I thank everyone, including the folks that have dissed me in and out, and even took it to personal levels against me, it is because of these people I get to appreciate the good ones better.
I also thank BCF moderators who have given me the heads up, you guys are wonderful and you are the true face of BCF. |

right, it's going to save my life but you don't know what it is yet.
Apart from it's going to involve VERY smart technology! Some kind of unicorn app that will make you richer than sin.

Great so it's some kind of global rollout you'll be wanting, in the vein of some bland uber-faptasm, which is why this shit is badly translated and copy/pasted in mr.magoo-sized text. Do you not understand this country just had a proxy vote on globalisation and people who aren't from round here?

Too much required personal info, email, name, postcode. What the hell do you need this if the survey is just quantitive data? Another load of shit attempt at data farming
So, best piece of technology to save your life on nearly all occasions eh? Most on here already have it, is gripped with the right hand.. throttle, balls or both. ____________________ ybr125 Sold, GSF600 K1 Bandit (For Sale), FJR13000 gen2. |
