Then again; 'How often do you use maximum acceleration and braking': well, I ride a fucking 125, without maximum acceleration I'd never get out of a junction Laughing

Q. Which best describes your attitude to car drivers
A. They cause accidents… by being distracted and not being observant so I have to compensate for that
5 points… really you sure it’s not 0 or 1?

Q. I am seriously scared of death or serious injury on bike
A. Never, on the road I don't allow my self to get that distracted.
Down as 5 points but should it be 2 or less?

Schizophrenia is apparently becoming more common.

27 for me but that's not really surprising.

Why the sudden drop at 45? 45+ biker on sports bikes are the prime candidates for inserting themselves into the landscape.

Main bike? What if you commute on a naked but then take your RRRZXRZR out at the weekend? Again, high risk.

On 2/3rds of my bikes, I'm often pinning the throttle. This results in less progress than using 1/2 throttle on the other one. I'm very light on the brakes on all of them. Meaningless question is meaningless.

"Car drivers cause accidents" = 5 points? But they do, which is why I'm super cautious around them. Eh?

Getting the lowest score in "group riding" precludes getting the lowest score in "great biking experience".

This feels like one of those SurveyMonkey do-my-homework efforts, or a chick mag relationship mumbo-jumbo quiz.

Your metric is bad and you should feel bad.

I'm toxically co-dependent and need to learn to love my inner goddess.

I agree, the questions and answer choices are somewhat narrow minded!!

Looking at all the scores above, I'm not going to admit what mine totaled up as!

Is this like a blokes version of a Cosmopolitan quiz?

You can't definitively score someone's ability to be safe using a limited questionnaire that's answered directly by the subject.

That said I don't want to peepee on the OP's thread so I scored myself at 31. The glib statement about not being the next Dan Pedrosa is arse backwards as well, as aren't we taking about 'safe riding' on the road, not track prowess...?

I'm stuck on the "Scared of Death" question. What's the difference between "occasionally" and "sometimes" ? And why isn't "always" an option Wink

49! Beat you bro! 25-30 year old R1 riders FTW!

Admittedly, none of them were for the hazards, but mostly what we ride and how we ride.

I'd say most of the old forum boys i.e. the mid 2000's teenage lot routinely ride track, and have sufficient experience on the road to ride progressively and safely. We made our mistakes in our teens with our 400's an 600's that we can now probably button down the rankings on reckless endangerment, as well as having a more mature mentality on the roads.

I think I may still have that copy of Bike somewhere. It's a <2004 issue, right?
