that's the best thing about my drz, where we go out for a day my mate spends £50-60 on fuel/oil for his KTM and another £20-40 on wear on tyres/consumables, my drz chugs along on £10-15 all day and hasn't got the power to wear anything out much either.

that said the ktm is additively mental, you come out of every corner either spinning up the rear, wheelying or both, and it makes even a fairly unskilled rider like me look like an MX Pro, hence why I have bought 1 well actually 3 but cant afford to ride them all the time!

I've got a possible +1 and if so I'll prob go in his van but maybe still meet you at your gaff first.

Might be rocking the open face trials lid though, don't know if I've got the pennies for goggles etc yet. Too many other commitments.

Errrr....

I had wanted to keep it down to a group of six people.The lanes around the Dorking area are quite congested with lots of horses,mountain bikers and walkers and eight riders would be too many.

Lets keep it at six please as there are three of us coming down from the Kent area.

We can always arrange another rideout at a later date

Bike started, transmission oils changed and old fuel removed. Pain in the butt to get rid of the old petrol.

Have a small issue where the fuel overflows from the bowl when the bike is on the side stand but don't think I can fix that by Saturday. All good as long as I remember to turn off the fuel tap when putting it on the side stand.

So the start point is Rykas car park?

Yes,meet at Rykas cafe car park at 0900 hours for a 0930 hours getaway.That should give us time to grab a coffee while getting ready.

Forecast is not that good,but after the beebs cockup last Sunday when the predicted heavy rain for the mid-Kent area and it was blazing hot,I will not take the forecast too seriously Rolling Eyes
