This might sound mental but is there such a thing? Rode to work this morning it was that cold my specs fogged up and had to stop as I couldn't see. Just wondered if there's such a thing at all. Haven't heard if there is just putting it out there.

I've suffered with short sight for all my adult life, sorry dude but contact lenses are the best thing that ever happened to me. If you can ride a motorcycle competently, you can put in lenses. Actually that's a silly statement. But; you don't actually touch your eyes dude, you know that right?

I had the same issue, most of those anti fog sprays and stuff leave a residue which ruins clarity and or just flat out don't work.

Contact lenses do work but if you want to use glasses the only thing that's worked for me is using a breath guard/mask like the Respro foggy. As an added bonus if your visor doesn't have a pinlock it stops that and also integrated sun visors from fogging too.

I'm not actually not able to wear Contacts (My eyes swell, which is both weird and gross).

It all depends on Helmet design. With my Uber Baja, I have to breathe through my mouth, and out the bottom of the helmet. Breathing through the nose gets it foggy in one go. With my Taichi, it's the opposite, but it has tiny vents. The original Simpson bandit gave no fucks, I only had "Fuck, can't see" issues in actual fog.

In any case, just crack open your visor a bit, it'll clear pretty much instantly, your specs will keep the very worst of the wind off for a few seconds.

I also urge you to retry contacts. Otherwise, you'll just have to keep the visor cracked open a tad. This works well at lower speeds and if rain is not torrential

Well, we have in the design phase 'Chlorojet', which is a cost add-on for Lid-Pal that sprays a fine mist of chlorine gas into the frontal area of the helmet. This has an antibacterial effect and also chemically deodorises the inevitable whiff of super-heated sputum.

I wear specs and they only slightly fog up. Get a lid with decent ventilation and you'll be fine. Someone suggested a Foggy mask to me last year, I tried it but couldn't get it to fit but others have said it works for visor and specs.

Thinking of trying contacts tho, done it years back but didn't like them. Was 15+ years ago tho, technology changed since then so gonna give it another shot.

You can get contact lenses that, once you've put them in, you just leave them in. For a whole month, even when sleeping. You don't have to take them out, but you can if you want to clean them or give your eyes a rest...

But I regularly wear contact lenses designed to allow more oxygen to permeate through them so I can just wear them for a month straight and forget about them.

Talk to your optician, I got mine from Specsavers and they're about £17 per month. Definitely worth it though.
