No wonder they're not selling many bikes - they have 14 models listed on their website with no price info. That's about 38% of their entire range. It took them months to post a price for the Van Van 200 and I expect the same will happen for the V Strom 250 etc. Pretty useless |

Why pre-announce it though? You can't pre-order without a price - although I guess dealers might be happy to take $SOME monies now in return for a promise to negotiate for the rest later.
Do they imagine that folk will be holding off buying bikes from other marques just in case the Suzuki offering is better / cheaper? Given the paltry specs that they've announced for their new 125 / 250 bikes, I can't see folk queueing up. There's no mainstream alternative for the V-Strom 250, and the GSX-R250 is an Inazuma in a frock. I can't see why they're even bothering.
Seems like the most likely result is to devalue the current models of their own bikes. Yeah, thanks for telling me that the V-Strom is obsolete, Suzuki, but I might do you a favour... ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

I understand it's available in the states for around $4.6k so it'll be interesting how much it appears here for ____________________ The above comment isn't necessarily the truth and anyone that says it is, is only correct if it's the truth or they're bigger than me. |

Actually, having thought about it, Suzuki pricing is fairly meaningless anyway. Even if they stop the "£900 off" promotions I'll always regard their list prices as suspect. Maybe that's their new tactic - you come up with the price and we'll see if it's close enough to what we want
Generally good bikes though. |
