What is my bike worth?

Hi folks. I wanted to sell my Cannondale SL1. It is a 2013 model and has only been taken out the house once for a 3
mile ride. So really it is in awesome condition, even the tyres still have their injection-moulding things but I have no idea what to ask for it. I think it cost about £950 when I got it so was thinking of advertising for £500. Do you think this is asking a bit much? Even though it is so new and pristine? I don't want to put off buyers by advertising for a daft price. But I know nothing about second-hand bike prices and I don't want to get ripped off either. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Bikes depreciate loads, they are typically worth about 1/3 of the retail price after just three years. Unless it's a 29" variation, they hold money pretty well.

Your bike is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, however shiney and
new it seems.
People don't want it at £500. People don't want it near £500.
Re-advertise £50 lower each time until you get a bite.
I'd wager £350 will be close.

£300-400 give or take £50 depending on how detailed your ad is and how good your photos are.

Thanks for all the advice. I've been in touch with a lad who had offered me £370 a couple of weeks ago and he is still interested so I will accept his offer.
