Hi all

I bought a Gear Indicator that requires a line from my Neutral wire, along with the usual pos/neg.
This is one of those deals where I've fitted sensors to my gear shifter, so between up/down shifts the device will detect a change in gear.

Does anyone know exactly which wire, going into my dash, I'll need (e.g. colour)

Or, does anyone have a link to a wiring diagram that is for my bike:

I had one of these on some bike I had the dim and distant past. It didn't work. Cut a long story short. The earth through the neutral switch that sets it to '0' needs to be a GOOD earth. The neutral switch can sit at many Ohms above true earth due to clag in the contacts,
I got round this by activating a relay from the neutral switch supply, the secondary contacts going from the gear indicator unit to a really good chassis earth. Worked quite well after that.
