Hey guys so i haven't been around mx bikes for about 4 years now as had a 4 wheel phase..

anyhow my local tracks are nightmare for quads as they only let them on 5 or 6 times a year so i decided to go back to two wheels again.

was originally buying a kx 125 2004 but seller decided to give it to someone else after arranging to the make the 450 mile round trip to get it. so after having already arranged a guy to go to Elgin for me and to save letting him down i looked on gumtree and came across a really clean looking 2007 YZ 125

i done the trip today and bike has landed Smile over the moon with this purchase bike was in even better nick than expected when i arrived at guys place today and glad in the end the kx seller decided to offer it to someone else as would have missed this as its been well looked after

it has HVM Cylinder Head,V Force Reeds,HGS Exhaust System and been jetted.

sounds great as well

dying to get out on it but need to wait around 4 weeks before i have funds for mx kit as buying this has skint me lol

Don't bother with a ground anchor, just keep it inside.

haha from picture it looks like it lol room is like 10 feet by 9 feet but plenty of room to do bits and bobs to bike where it is so im happy enough. gonna do carb drain today and hopefully it will stop the fumes need to get hold off a 2 stroke exhaust plug but just stuffed a old shirt in exhaust for now until i get one.

i live in a quiet area but this is my first bike iv spent this sort money on so don't wanna risk it in shed even with a ground anchor and chain. in a way its not in way in my room anyway as before bike i had two bookcases where it is so its basically same space expect bike is there instead

order my boots, helmet and glvoes yesterday gonna order other stuff in two weeks time as dying to get out lol

Main trouble with a ground anchor is you have to attach the bike to it with something, that is the weak point. Keep it indoors within baseball bat swinging distance. I live on the isle of wight and park an MX125 on the road, lock it up to the gills. Even down here where people genuinely leave their front doors unlocked at night, i am somewhat concerned about it getting chavved overnight.
