Hi guys. I have already got a full car license and i am adding the Category A (bike) bit to it. I have had a look at the DVLA's site but want to make sure i get it all right before i send it all off. I am also changing the address at the same time as i have just moved.

Here is what i think i need to send:

Arrow paper counterpart with new address on .
Arrow pass certificate
Arrow no fee to pay as far as i can see
Arrow photocard
Arrow maybe a note to explain i need the address changed at the same time?

am i missing anything? Or is any of that wrong?

Ahh you passed your test and adding full bike entitlement to it?

Then yeah that looks about right i think, only the fee bit might want to check, theres a form (D145 or something like that i think, although dont quote me on it) that lists all the possible pricings you can pick it up from a post office.

For the adress change theres an official form for that to far as i know. So a covernote would be a good idea long as you got that form in there as well. Also i think that might cost something.

Just another question -

After two years at 33bhp, do i need to send off for new license?

Since it has '*little bike picture* < 25KW power '

on it at the moment?

So do i need a new photocard to take that off?

You *can* send it off to have the restriction removed off your license but It doesn't really matter. As soon as the restrictions up you can ride anything. Thumbs Up

I thought they automatically sent you another licence after your 2 years was up anyway.

To reflect you're no longer restricted.

Nope. You can buy a replacement license without the <25KW bit on it but there is no requirement for you to do that.
