Drying the bedding in doors after its been washed makes the house very humid. Rolling Eyes

After 2 hours of fiddling around I could finally get my (who knows how old) wifi adaptor to work in Fedora, on my legendary Q6600, only to find out the adaptor is crap, slow and can not establish a stable connection. 100% signal, yet the moment I start a internet browser or try to update the system, it fails. Mad

Any Pi owners running the onboard wifi module successfully? I want a streaming machine for my living room Tv. The Q6600 is too big and noisy anyway, so I won't even bother buying a new wifi adaptor.

Forced to get a face full of drizzle for the last 1/2-1/4 of my commute because visibility was better with visor up than down. Sub 30mph speeds and no amount of wiping was going to help so gave up. Well, that and a shite visor I've complained about before.

Then we get to the trying to go home. Lights turned of near where I park so I had to get the flashlight out and fumble around to try and connect the tailbag to base. Then, once done, the zip puller thing come loose of the zip so had the fumble around again to get that back on.

Ah, all to come again tomorrow. Folded arms

That's a setup right Wink

Gumtree are getting on my nerves with not removing fake/fraudulent adverts. What's the point of having a report button?

We should start an ePetition to force legislation about it...

It bugs the hell out of me too. Dealers listing as private sellers in particular winds me up a treat - half of the "private" bikes near me are always listed by the same bunch of chancers who think they can decide whether they're trade or not from one bike to another.

TL/DR Hand Car Washes - won't touch motorbikes, but have taken over and replaced self service jet washes.

I rode to Tesco to jet wash my Beta. Out of order. I rode to Kempston to the self service washes, knocked down and replaced with staffed Hand Car Wash - refused to do my bike. I rode to the jet wash at the petrol station in Kempston - replaced with Hand Car Wash - refused to my bike. I tried two more of these Hand Car Washes, all refused. I even offered one bloke £10 and said I will do it myself. Really, what is the big deal about motorcycles that hand car wash people won't touch them? I don't have a garage, I can't get my bike into the back garden, and if I try and take a hose round into the street and jet wash it, the neighours will complain that I've got mud on their cars and or houses, assuming there is even enough space to work - parking is a nightmare in a terraced street

This was an obvious setup to rob them jobbie. Anyway reported again last night and they've now been removed Thumbs Up

You think that's bad; they've converted a carwash near me into a Greggs! An actual Greggs, in what is essentially a concrete box, adjacent to the petrol station.

Dave, I think the problem might be the Poundland part. Your wife's upset that you'd flirt with a cashier in such a down market shop.*

If you'd said you'd been flirted with by a cashier in Cartier or Rackhams or even Waitrose she might not have reacted so badly. At the very least she would have been distracted by wondering what you were doing in there.

I'd raise my game if I were you. Tomorrow, tell her you were flirted with in Greggs.

* I'm a regular Poundland shopper, not snobbish in any way.......moi

That's kind of the point Dave. If she thought a more up-market-babe was after you, your wife would view the matter differently.
