On a serious note... I'ts coming from the top of the radiator and it stinks. Starts within 5 minutes of running the bike on its stand.

Im thinking coolant / head gasket, but after opinions.

Bike : Suzuki 1250 FA / 2012

I'll do a video of the steam tomorrow after work if anyone thinks its relevant.

I've not had a look at anything under the fairings yet as was pitch black when i got in.

Thanks!

Thumbs Up

Have you ridden through any mud/crap/diesel/any other fluid? It could just be said viscous substance burning off of the radiator after being flung at it by the front wheel?

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

I initially thought it might be that - as It really smelt like burning manure or cat shit or something equally horrible.

So I washed it first.

Still could be bits stuck in the radiator I suppose. If it is that Ill be very happy.

Ill take a good look at the weekend in the day light to see if i missed anything.

Solved! Took the fairings off and had a good look around, the main fan wasn't kicking in and it was overheating...

Wd40 in the connectors and all working again! Smile
