Hi All,

I'm hoping to head across to Ireland for a week or so this coming Summer with a group of friends. The plan is to do a bit of touring and to take in one of the road race events.

We'd be able to go from June onwards so, in looking at the provisional calendar for the 2017 season, any of the following races could fit in:

17th-18th June Kells
30th June – 1st July Skerries
8th-9th July Walderstown
22nd-23rd July Faugheen 50 Road Races
28th – 29th July Armoy Road Races
7th – 12th August Ulster Grand Prix
9th-10th September Killalane

Does anybody have experience of any / several of these? Good points / bad points? A nudge in the direction of nice accommodation you've had at any of the meets would also be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

You really can't go wrong at any of them, imo Armoy is the best national race of the year and Ulster by far the best international and I'd highly recomend both.

Heard the Ulster is the one to deffo go and see, ive been to the NW200 4 times and loved it, the last one was a wash out and bomb scare, not managed to find the time to get over in a while.
