Trump's first week has been eventful

I have fact checked some of it, but willing to be proven wrong. And as one comedian noted, these are just "Tweets with signatures".

But Jesus, some of it is fucking horrifying. Abortion banning (worldwide), "Alternative facts", cancelling visas after the poor sods have arrived and detaining at airports... and removing the Spanish version of the website are some fun things.

As others have noted in the other thread, I expected him to just get slapped in the face with stalling-tactics until he got bored.

If you have dollars (cash), I would get rid of them... IF he"does good things to the economy, it is going to be on a Brexit length of time (ie we might benefit in about 10 years, but fucked for the next couple).

Crazy times.

Yes... ?

Are the slew of threads wooshing through this sub-forum becoming too hard to keep up with? Laughing

Does Trump have ADHD

I actually reckon that would explain a lot.

Snowflakes melting:

Prevent Donald Trump from making a State Visit to the United Kingdom.

Donald Trump should be allowed to enter the UK in his capacity as head of the US Government, but he should not be invited to make an official State Visit because it would cause embarrassment to Her Majesty the Queen.

Fuck the queen and fuck him.

You don't have to be a snowflake to see a turd in the guise of a human.

Someone needs to remind Mr. Trump that being president of the USA isn't quite the same as being president of a private company.

What do these petitions actually achieve, except for a 30 second mention in Parliament?

Unless it's direct action a petition should be the start, the catalyst. Bit like writing a letter to your MP.

Indeed. The world has plenty of baddies but I have difficulty finding their addresses.

The world also has lots of great people...otherwise it'd be FUBAR.

I guess that's sort of my point. If you have a campaign, then deliver a petition to Downing Street then it's a bigger deal than yet another ePetition passed around facebook/twitter, which then gets a brief mention in Parliament.

However I'm sure on this occasion they'll all want a say, and Corbyn will commit Harakiri in protest.

It's being debated right now, petition says waiting 1 day for debate date... so I guess they'll say oh we've already done that. Anyway Godwin's law has been well and truly smashed Smile

What's particularly interesting about mentioning mein fuhrer in the 'debate' is the role that nazi propaganda still plays in Islamic culture.

For the most part from what I can see the things he's been doing do represent his pre-election promises.

That being the case, complaints are a tad anti-democrating.
The anger should perhaps be aimed at the voting minority in the US that elected him?
