No Honda Cubs!

I'm taking part in a TRF event in the summer, must be a road legal insured machine, with tax and mot (unless old enough to be exempt).

"suitably unsuitable bikes to ride every green lane in Herts in one day"
Doesn't have to be a moped, but can't be a trail bike, or dirt bike etc

I have a budget of £500

What suggestions would people have for something that would have a decent chance of making it round?

Apart from Honda cubs.
After weeks of looking, can't find a suitable one .

I am currently bidding on a 50cc Honda SH on ebay. Embarassed

Does it have to be a 50cc? CG125 is cheap and will manage light offroading.

Something like that, or a Tomos type thing maybe.

PX-R50?

Sitting in my garage, was MOT'd last year, did about 5 miles. Needs an MOT, but it genuinely needs very little. Electric/kick start. Shout if interested.

EDIT: This one. Even have a replacement red tank to go with it now.

I thought of yours, then I thought it's too good a bike to chuck down green lanes.

However, Wot's PX is a lovely solid little bike that would be great for what you want with the big wheels. Recommend you have a chat, it's the best you will find in your budget Thumbs Up

Back brake was 'technically' a fail, but it went through. I put new cable and new shoes on it and it's fine. It was for my daughter, she literally rode it 5 miles and then wasn't interested. Sat in the garage since. Always started easily on the kick.

It even has that lovely strawberry scented 2 stroke oil in it, we were only talking about this morning Matt!

I want £400, as I got the actual matching tank later on to make it perfect and it pretty much is for a bike so old.

I've got a Honda 50cc 2 stroke with a pug expansion chamber exhaust stuck on that does have V5. Was used for a moped race a couple of years ago and not been touched since.

£80, say - but would have to find number plate/v5 etc.

Painted silver (our theme was "despicable gee") but fairings broken/hanging off.

wots - I'll take it.

Sent you a PM.

(I gave a little cheer when I lost the auction I'd bid on)
