As title how to remove a stuck exhaust baffle?

I've had it out before but refitted it for the winter. Today I have been riding hard enjoying a hint of spring and yearned for the snap crackle and pop.

Had a go at it tonight the same way I removed it originally with a set of needle nose pliers but it is stuck solid.

Solutions?

Just revisit this post in about an hour. Someone will say something to make you angry. The baffle won't like it when you're angry.

Either that or your bike is so caked in shit that you can't see the retaining screw.

Don't remove the circlip/screw and then start the engine. Oh no, don't do that.

Buy a new engine now for when you screw it up to the point of snapping the exhaust studs when you have to fit a new exhaust because everything from the can back was rusted to feck.

Preventative maintenance. Sure, ACF50 will help but if you wanted it out, you'll learn to keep stuff in good order under it.

Heat the exhaust (not the baffle) a little with a heat gun and clean any crap away. Mine gets stiff if there is residual heat in the baffle itself.

You could run the engine with the retainer out but they can pop out with force so I wouldn't recommend it.
