Leaving on 4th June, Plymouth to Santander, Few days around the Pico's followed by a few days across the Pyrenees and then Catalan Moto GP on the 11th. Back across the Pyrenees and ferry back on the 14th.
Does anyone know of any nice roads around the Pico's, we have never been riding there before so any info would be a bonus.
The routes over the Pyrenees will include the D918 and the N260 amongst many others, this should make for a nice relaxed trip with only a couple of times we will have to pre book hotels/b&b etc.

Sounds much the same as what we're doing. We sail from Plymouth on 28th May and sail back from Bilbao on 15th June. Going to do a few days in the Picos (never been before) and like yourself through the Pyrenees (been a few times). Staying just north of Barcelona for 6 days chilling out and taking in the MotoGP. Smile

Hope you enjoy it bud. I have only pre booked 2 nights for the Saturday and Sunday for the moto gp. Got a cracking deal in a little town about 30 mons from the track. The rest of the time we will just stop when we've had enough for the day and get a local hotel/b&b

Dave, try the road from Aurritz Burgette to St Jean Peid de Port, its a right laugh.

We are off on Saturday 1/7/17 from Stoke (at 4 am) to the Tunnel, then on to Compiegne for the 1st overnight at the F1. Then off to my place at Premery (near to Nevers where Circuit Magy Cours is). A few days riding round the beautiful Parc de Morvan, then on Friday kicking off back towards home for an overnight just outside Calais for the huge last night piss up. There are at least 12 of us going, one in a car with most of the luggage and a few English guys working and living in France joining us down there for the riding, beer and general debauchery. This trip become a bit of a tradition over the last few years, and we really should occasionally do Spain and the south of France again, but when it comes to it, everyone decides it my place again.
But Hey-ho, at least we are getting out and about.
