Triumph seem to have released pricing across the range to the journos;

Street Triple S - £8,000

Street Triple R - £8,900

Street Triple RS - £9,900

I can't see many withholding 900 smacker and going for the S model. I don't doubt there will be endless talk about the RS being MT-10 money however I'm not sure they're one and the same...

Fiat 500's were cheap cars until they became super popular. Funny that...

For the same money as an RS, can have a zero mile 2016 Fireblade or GSXR750. Or yes, MT10.

And would you pick a standard Street over the MT09 at £8k.....

It wasn't that long ago that the STR was £6k. That's nearly 50% inflation in 7 years.

Good luck to them, looks a nice bike and PCP will help as per.

hmmm. got my current one on PCP, managed to get a guaranteed £5300 final value + my original deposit of £1200 means I would means a little under £4000 for top of the range for me. however I still have 2 tears left on my triple so I shall see what happens then. I suspect more inflation will change things.

I like it even with the odd bit of untidy wiring the disguised cat...but from those pics the forks look almost weedy.

So when you ordering 1?

At the american prices triumph couldn't of made the bloody things fast enough. Using today's currency the prices for these bikes in america work out at
Triple S - £7500
Triple R - £8400
Triple RS - £8999

Quote:

Price is MSRP, and excludes tax, title, license, options, handling, pre-delivery, and destination charges. Specifications and MSRP are subject to change without notice. Actual price determined by dealer.

As I understand it, that means excludes sales tax? (Licence being the equivalent of our road tax.)

So to compare prices to the UK, you need to add 20% to them - which puts them up at over the UK prices all around, with the cheapest option the same price as the most expensive in the UK.

Their sales taxes are a lot more confusing - here's a list for vehicles.
https://www.factorywarrantylist.com/car-tax-by-state.html

However, the bit Triumph is charging is more than in the UK as far as I can see.
