So basically my sister moved this weekend and lost the key for the bike lock unfortunatlly its through the rim and the frame so i need a way to get it off any tips

Urm lots exept anything powered i might have a metal file cant remember lots of engineering tools dad gave me

Hard to tell from the picture but that doesn't look like anything particularly fancy. A decent set of bolt croppers should go through it. They're not too expensive.

Alternatively it won't take long with a hacksaw. You'll likely be disappointed by how little metal is underneath that tough looking skin.

Yea i managed to flex it abit and i could see under the metal tubeing it was about a cm or so of twisted braided cable

Hacksaw is the default option.

You could try drilling the lock barrel which may or may not be successful. Laughing

If you can get the lock onto something solid, a club hammer might loosen it up. Otherwise hacksaw or angle grinder if you can borrow one.
