I've ridden a 916SPS, it was totally impractical and very uncomfortable. None of that mattered though because I was ridding a Ducati 916SPS Laughing

Can totally understand that tbh!

I remember going to a fishing lake for an chilled evening carp session after work one Friday in summer 95. I could hear on the bypass amongst the howling ZX6R's, GSXRs and 900RR's a booming big Duke, maybe 888, but probably a 916. I never forget the sound of that evening, even whist drinking cans of cider and catching fuck all with my clumsiness and hoofing around on the bank. Laughing

The 996 would increase the likelihood of you not requiring roadside recovery. and it looks like a 916.
