I got flashed by a speed camera a while back paid the fine but sent my license off too late I've had the letter stating I'm being taken to court and my fine's been refunded am I gonna get raped by the court Shocked

Just go to court, all nice and smart. Explain that you paid the fine but sent your licence off too late and I'm sure they won't screw you. Why would they, it's not like you are trying anything smart arse.

What's the whole point of going paperless with the licences if you still got to send them off after getting points?

I know, right? They still want you to surrender a plastic ID card which doesn't even show convictions on it, just so that you can be sent an identical plastic ID card which doesn't even show convictions on it.

Did the local Cunstabulary send your plastic ID card which doesn't even show convictions on it back to you then?

Sad times if so, as you can't go Interpretations Act and claim that you totally did send it in in time, but the Royal Mail's dog must have ate it.

Plead guilty, either show up all contrite apologising for the court's time being wasted, or sod the whole thing off and just write in with an apology rather than wasting your time as well.

Sadder times, fines go up sharply on April 24th. Prepare your anus wallet.

I was doing 40 in a 30 in the Kemptown area of Brighton I sped up so as not to catch the ghey! can I use that as a defence Smile

first time I ever got stopped by the police was Old Steine just off Brighton Sea Front, trying to be a hooligan on a DR100. Embarassed

I feel old, I just realised this was 25 years ago
