Just to be arsey

There is way too much repetition in the advert and some of the detail isn't clear.

Excellent Condition, Pride and Joy Bike. Very well looked after and rarely used in the rain and covered over night in a storm shelter....

blah, blah

Full Service History - Last full Service was at 16000 including valve clearence + (Mini Service & oil changed at last MOT ) ...

clearance. unclear when last service was. but good to see full service history (with triumph or elsewhere?)

I am the 3rd Owner - I have had it for 2 years....Reason for selling is change of bike. I have just purchased a touring and the other half said i cant have both...

Registration no can be provided to allow you to check MOT / tax / HPI etc history and status...

Beautiful sought after Green Colour....

Green you say?

so 6 months mot

Datatool 3 Alarm system...

Comes with lots of extras: Twin Arrow Exacust Cans, Sound Amazing, Triumph bar end mirrors. (Originals Included), V-Trec Black Levers. Good, I thought some might be missing since earlier in the advert

, 2 keys, Belly pan, Crash bungs, Electric start, Heated grips, Rear hugger, Seat cowl.

Green
Still green then?

, £3,750

Beautiful Green Triumph street triple. I'm the 3rd owner and after 2 years of reliable ownership I've bought a touring (am I getting old Smile? ) so this has to go.

This has been very much a fair weather fun bike so used in the dry and stored in the dry.

Regularly serviced including the expensive valve clearance major service at 16K. Last service at xxK in October when the bike was also put through its MOT (passed without advisories as I'd expect).

Lots of sensible upgrades including ... (original mirrors/seat/levers included).

Insurance approved Datatool 3 alarm.

Two keys.

Give me a ring if you'd like to see more pics or discuss details.

Great value at £xxx

Thanks for that and see your point. Alot of the duplicated stuff where i typed it, then there are options to check the things it includes from a list. i didn't realise that it was going to just add it to the bottom of the description.

Ill try and tidy it up a little.

I presume you gave her the reg number so she cold look up the MOT? We pretty well all obscure our reg numbers when posting pictures then give it out to any one who asks when it comes to selling because no one will come to look without doing an HPI check first.

Daft isn't it.

I actually couldn't remember so I just had a quick look, turns out I did put a photo up of the reg on that particular ad Thumbs Up

Before a person comes around to view I'd go overkill on the locks!!! Or put the bike where you would never keep it! And take a copy of their licence befor they see it. Whenever I've sold cars or my bikes I always do this. If it's a bike I would recommend you take the full payment in cash before a test ride! Sound shitty, 99% of bikers honest, but that 1% isn't, my friends have lost bikes.

The license thing sounds a bit OTT but I have similar feelings. I had an honest lad come to view my 125, he wanted a short test ride which turned into 90 minutes (as he got lost), and I had to go and rescue him. He bought the bike but I was thinking I could have easily lost my bike then.

Also people on this forum have had bikes stolen when they've been advertised for sale. With all the idiots you get on gumtree who never turn up even though they're on their way, it's hard to know who's just after the bikes location.
