Easy way to check, next time, dont heat anything else apart from the battery and see if it starts.

Time after that, dont heat anything apart from the cylinder/head/carb and see if it starts.

My money is on the battery.

Mine has the same engine, so presumably starter, and starts just fine in all weathers Confused Question

Oh for the love of..... guess whose bike just failed to start on the last time he'll ride it before having a scalpel taken to his groin? That'll be my wonderfully ironic (Alanisism) life. Don't my salty tears taste delicious today.

replacement starter about £350 not including labour. even had a dealer say the starter isnt broken but a better upgraded one is available...basically admitting its a sub standard part fitted.

just sent a complaint to KTM, had enough now.

Sorted, or is OP still using a hairdryer to start the bike?
