z750s exhaust

hi all.

i have a z750s for about a year. perfect bike for me

i saw a fuel pipe on ebay and brought it. since then its been run without the db killer

trouble is ive been on the motorway a bit and the drone of the exhaust does my head in

i suffer with bad ears so dont like ear plugs

i have fitted the db killer which has quietened it down. trouble is it does backfire now

i measured the exit hole

standard is approx 4 cm. fuel pipe with no db 5cm with db killer 3cm

would this cause any massive issues. there doesnt look like a way to modify the db killer. seems a bit small for a 750 with 100 odd bhp

If you're riding at motorway speeds without earplugs, you'll soon find that the exhaust noise no longer bothers you. The tinnitus might though.
