With the pollution tax looming I'm thinking about what to replace my 2003 Fazer with and I'm leaning towards a Mk2 Fazer, So are they much different from the old model, relable & so on?

In my experience yes. They also have the diagnostic mode which can be handy. Only problem i had was starter relay and reg/rec failure but on a 12 year old bike that's not unexpected.

They didn't have the blue spot brakes until the S2 but the tokiko ones are perfectly good. Lights are still poor but that was my only minor niggle.

thirsty, and shortish tank range

did 40,000 miles on mine before I sold it

or is it 30k can't remember now. Probably 30.

great fun, liked it, but did get fed up keep stopping for fuel on longer runs

What exactly do you mean by Mk2? Sureley your current one is a Mk2, as in the next model after the original box eye?
