My last 3 cars have had B pillar back factory tints. Am in hire car with boggo windows while mines in the body shop and
am really noticing how bright the cars behind me headlights seem and I'm appreciating how much glare the tints cut from the
rear view. Guess I've just got used to having them. Wouldn't mess around with the front windows though.

LOL Laughing Totally sounds like something I'd do.

I'm 19 and not too long until I'm 20.

Doubt it's something I'll 'grow out of', I'm surprised to see a lot of the members on club civic on facebook are in their late 20's and 30's.

I wouldn't mind neons but I'm crap at wiring, I'll just paint the car different colours at first and might add some tribal style decals if I get bored.

I'd only get a fake turbo whistle if I actually had a turbo.

I'll take a pic of my car for you all Smile

That back door has been swapped/sprayed as well (unless they kept that and swapped everything else).

Truly dreadful Sick

It's sad how modern car design and legislation has limited modding to slightly different shape bits of plastic or a new chip in the EMS. In my day modding a car meant shoe-horning a fast road V8 under the bonnet.

Also the door hasn't been replaced, I think it's just the camera adjusting because of the tint (other side looks same).

Back on topic the blue tint looks like this https://i.imgur.com/iuJaPyd.png

I think it would be a bit better on my back window as I'd be able to see more out the back as well as having the reflective effect when the person put's their lights on full beam after I overtake them.

What a fucking waste. Want something less shopping cart. Spend it on something better.

That is a granny box. Anything you do to it makes you look like a fucking peasant and I will laugh eternally at the state of that thing.

I drive a 206, it's probably faster than yours, it's better on fuel and it serves it purpose. That's a skip on wheels.

Enjoy the tints.

Hands up anyone over the age of 21 that's said 'I doubt I'll grow out of .....' (whatever the fashion of the days was, be it music, clothes or custom car murals or whatever) but did grow out of it and is now really embarrassed that they ever did it?

What? Not one single hand up.... come on, someone out there must have finished growing up and still liking ALL the things they did in their teens... Laughing

Doesn't mean you will or won't but by far the most likely is that you will grow out of it.

I seem to have been rather harsh last night.

However. Its gopping. I'd drive anything, that has been proven, but I'd not buy that.

The best thing you could do is get that tidied up, ditch the steelies and get a decent set of wheels on there. Remove the obscene tint and put like 30% on the rears. Get rid of the exhaust that makes noise but doesn't actually do anything and put something not standard, but still fruity to enjoy. Spend the rest on a Supra.

I agree it's a granny box, but making it look less granny like makes me happy, along with the people who hate it and say I've ruined a perfectly good car Twisted Evil

From the day i got it i said it was going to be molested and I aim to make it look filthy, I'm not trying to look classy or what most people would consider nice, especially with a car so ugly from factory.

I'll probably end up leaving the front windows alone in regards to tint unless i find something light that's cheap.

I'd agree with paddy. Save your money for some smart alloys. Get rid of the sticker rubbish and smarten the rest of it up. If you Photoshop some nice wheels on your photo you'll see what i mean.

Anyway, I've nothing against your type if you're paying for it with hard earned cash. I just think a classier more grown up look will stand you out more than race tat.

It's a 5 door,They always look shit. Out of all the civics made that is probably the worst looking shape, Even my little 1.25 fiesta looks better. I'd probably rather save the money for buying a new bonnet and wheels

Remember when your mummy and daddy bought an Aprilia RS125 instead of saving the money and buying a better bike?

You say that, but my entire formative years, throughout school, college and uni were spent saying the same thing.

I always KNEW I would have a sick Mk2 Golf on slammed BBS RS 3-piece rims and a straight-thru DTM upsweep exhaust and one day I would do a 1.8T or VR6 conversion with the Haldex 4WD system and I would go out eating up M3's for breakfast.

I'm now 25 and I couldn't give a flying fuck about modifying cars, for looks or for performance. Waste of money.

I would sooner spend £1000 on bike gear and trackdays or mountain bikes rather than a set of rims that do nothing but take fucking ages to clean.

Modded cars get driven to meets and shows and car parks where you go and look at cars that have also been "modified" (Read: had different parts bolted to them), you might chat to other guys about where they got their rims from and that's about it. #carlyf

Obviously everyone's interests are different, and modded cars do catch my eye on the road. Buuuuuuuut for me, the expense has no reward whatsoever.

The Yamahas's are not a better bike.

The bigger bike after passing your test would be wouldn't it?

After all, you're both spending money on something that looks fast, but isn't.
