I find there's a certain level of vibrancy and life to these kinds of places. You can really feel that people live there. Maybe that'll change as I grow older but for now I'd just get bored and claustrophobic in a neat little community of row-by-row houses and buildings where everything looks the same.

I think it's just that some people like disorder whereas others prefer uniformity. It one of those human differences that will never be reconciled.

You wouldent want to park youre bike up there though.

I guess the conditions are now conducive for spraying activities to resume.

You are so full of shít it is incredible.
Try living in an area that is covered with Grafitti and see if you still feel that way. When taggers feel free to tag peoples cars, vans, houses in the name of art you are just excusing criminal damage.

Maybe talk to Bethnal Green Police and find that whenever they evict houses of Romanian Heroin addicted squatters they find spray cans from their tagging activities.

The thing here is none of your property has been vandalised so you like it, try living with it daily.

Totally agree, especially about the tagging part. I have an acquaintance who is an 'artist' (in her fucking dreams) whose son goes tagging. She once said to me about it being art, stupid bitch. I disagreed (vehemently).

But, but, property is theft. You just haven't lived in a society that's enlightened enough to understand shared stewardship of the commons.

Dauber has permission to do it: call it art if you want.
Without permission: it's graffiti.

Sure, it might be an "artistic masterpiece", but it's still graffiti.
As I understand it, the 'art' from 'tagging' is not in the visual appeal, but the location of said tags.
