GN 250 Wiring

Hi Guys,

i have been lurking for a while so i decided to register !

I saw hmmmnz's great wiring schematics but my my spark plug just wont spark, after i tore the bike apart it was running, so i might be making a mistake.

This is his wiring schematics:

My start motor is already working, but no spark yet!

I won't be using any lights so a lot of wiring is cut off

RE what is this?
'That' is the pulser
It sends trigger pulses to the CDI to initiate a spark
It's basically a small coil which is energised by a magnet on the flywheel
you seem to have the rest correct

Its a DC CDI system
assuming a good CDI box.....
have you checked for a 12V supply when ignition is switched on?
Is it properly grounded ( B&W wire)
check the pulser output and resistance with a meter

If you suspect the CDI box, using a flying lead and tapping
the white wire to ground should get a spark from a good coil

Where can i find this pulser?

And what does it look like?
I have all the other electrics
- Solonoid (relay)
- CDI
- Rectifier
- Coil
- Sparkplug
- Fuse box
- Battery
- Turn light relay

But i can't find the pulser anywhere, cant remember it
