Does VFR 400 NC30 fairings fit on a NC24/21

I know the front and side fairings from a NC24 fits on a NC21, but not if NC30 will aswell.

Thanks in advance.

The NC24 and 21 are very close relations. The main difference being some internal engine mods, the single sided swinger and the split sport style seat. The NC30 is a ground-up redesign. You might be able to *make* it fit, but it would probably look like a lash-up.

Ah okay, thank you. My friend crashed on a NC21 so we're looking hard for a few replacement fairings. They are pretty hard to come by, which you probably already know Very Happy

We'll keep looking for nc21/24 then.

Convert it to VFR400K spec... I think it's probably the only option. NC21s are so rare that I doubt you'll find OEM fairings.

Or buy an entire bike for spares...

That's actually not a bad idea! Just gotta pitch the naked thing. It's possible to find some non-OEM fairings on eBay, but they are expensive and probably not very good quality. At this point she just want to get out on the road again (she fell within the first 100 km after getting the license). A real bummer.

Nice. They both for sale? Does one of them have no fairings?

My first 'big' bike was an NC21, they make me all misty-eyed and whistful, like a Triumph does to an old codger.

I'm building one into a track bike at the mo but I kinda feel bad about doing that to a classic bike which has all of the original road kit.
The other is a 'box of bits' bike, which is still very much a 'several boxes of bits' bike. There's enough to build the complete bike however, sans fairings.

Both bikes are RG models.

I'm in Wiltshire, England.

Hi again

Sorry been very busy. We have found a guy who will try to mend the plastic. If this doesn't work out I'll try and holler you again. She is hell bent on driving this rare little racer Very Happy
