I use curved mounts on my open face lids, but flat seemed to fit better on the flip front. A standard kit will come with one of each so you'll be able to offer them up and see which one gets better contact.
The mounts are pretty strong, I've never had any concerns over them.

What isn't so strong is the rear cover and the squeezy clip on the insert that slots into the mount. I've had to superglue both of them back together. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

NP. You bought the Stealth already?
To be fair to the snappy plastics, mine has been in daily use in all weathers and swapped between helmets constantly for almost two years and the camera itself is still working well. The (non replaceable) battery life is down to about 90 minutes now, but that's still more than sufficient for my purposes, and an external power pack can be used for longer runs.
I'm pretty happy with it and am not aware that anything better has come onto the market in that price range. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

A fair number of them seem to go pop in short order but Drift are good about sorting them out, therefore the availability of refurbs. Should be reet.
A 32Gb card and cyclic recording is fine for me, that's multiple hours of footage, more than I'd ever want to retain.
What sort of battery life are you seeing from yours? ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

It is annoying. The knob on mine came off in short order, but a dab of superglue has seen it right. I am going to lose that back cover eventually. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

OP has flippylid though. On the main shell just behind the flip seemed to be the best location on mine. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
