I have got a couple of insurance quotes for a GSXR 600 roughly all around the £500 - £700 range but i am struggling to find a company that do a good installment package, the cheapest one was £475 but they onlt did the payments over 3 months Sad

I am 24 living in the north east and this is my first bike insurance and bike.

I phoned Carole Nash and they wanted to do it over 4 months I think.

There are places that do it over 12, for example ZX400r has his over 12 month installments I believe.

With Norwich union you can pay by installments, not sure of the time period though.

Paying by installment means huge interest charges oftern around 20%, so you will be paying 20% more than the quote for the insurance.

Mine through Bennetts was £39 deposit and 10 installments of £10 somthing or other. Charge for finance was about £13 for the year.

try insurance2000.co.uk, they look pretty cheap, going with them when it's time to renew as they can get a better price for me than bennetts
