Posted: 21:48 - 16 May 2017 Post subject: Paypal buyer protection question |
I just paid for an engine on eBay, through PayPal, by accident. EBay added it to my basket, so when I bought another item, it automatically checked out the engine too. My £8 air filter ended up costing £608
Now, I agreed £50 less with the seller, cash on collection. The seller is prepared to refund the full amount and accept £50 less for cash, but if the engine turns out to not run properly, I predict a nightmare getting a refund having paid cash.
What says bcf? Better chance of protecting myself by going through the books on PayPal? ____________________ You ain't a has been if you never was |
