Hi All
I am new to forum's so I hope this is allowed, please let me know if not, please see below information and a link to book onto a FREE course run by the London Fire Brigade open to all bikers, we run the course on one day a month either a Saturday or Sunday at the end of the month

Biker Down!
Is a free nationwide scheme that was devised to provide the tools to help bikers if they're involved in a crash.

The scheme is in partnership with London Ambulance Service, Transport for London and the Metropolitan Police.

What you will learn

The course lasts roughly four hours and is split into three modules:
How to manage the scene if you come across a collision.
How to help an injured rider by providing early intervention at the roadside.
Motorcycle-specific first aid - how to remove a helmet and practical tips on safer riding.

]The Biker Down! London course takes place at West Norwood fire station, Knight's Hill, SE27 0QA.
When you've completed the course you'll receive:
A certificate of attendance.
A first-aid kit designed to be carried under the seat of their bike.
You will also qualify for a discount to attend the BikeSafe-London Rider Skills Day delivered by The Metropolitan Police Service's Motorcycle Safety Team.

To book onto the course please follow the link below

dammit BCF. Providing solutions to my issues ...

I'll have a nosey around. Not that I'll ever use the skills, or hope not to anyway, it might be good to have something like this under the belt.

Learned how difficult it is to get a properly fitted helmet off someone else Shocked

KSI map gave me yet another reason not to go to Croydon? as if needed Puke

Overall was decent, what I did learn and confirm was invaluable and could potentially save a life.

I thought it was pretty damn funny Laughing dude kept closing the lid and he (you) kept opening it, I thought he was going to give him (you) a kick at one point. Also kneeled over talking about pulling off his helmet, many lols

But the best was when the old lady told cycle tat dude to shut the hell up

Also if it was you, nice burn on the nc750 "real bike" comment Laughing Laughing Laughing

Hahaha yh it was me and I'm glad I wasn't the only one loling at all the mention of helmets Laughing Laughing Laughing

I spoke to the guy that was taking off my helmet after and he said he legit just doesn't like people... that's why he would never do ambulance work again, only lone ranger motorcycle paramedic work... explains a lot Laughing Laughing

The cycle tat guy was a bit of an awkward know it all at some points and at end I was thinking I really hope you're not the guy to turn up at the scene of my accident Laughing

Which one were you then?
