Good year for superbikes, it'll have the R1 in it.

Never has and never will come out of its box.
What was she thinking?

I'm afraid I bought Sid one of those ages ago. It came out of the box ok, even cut a pizza or two but it doesn't go in the dishwasher and there's only so much encrusted cheese you can eat without dire consequences.

Anyway he forgave me, as history shows.......

I send my partner a list, complete with weblinks, by email in about September. This means she can pass off good ideas at all budgets to well meaning relatives who call her and ask what I'd like and I generally get things I'll actually use. It's worked well for ten years!

I got one of those for Christmas ... it was from an American friend and it seems they are only aware of one type of motorcycle. And one type of food for that matter.

As a pizza cutter, it's pretty good though!

I tend to get books about motorbikes. You know the sort that cover a range of sportsbikes, and gives stats about them. I get them from my mum, and I've been given the same one two Christmases in a row! :p

I'll keep them, as my mum always writes in the front page.

It's shite when it went from saying "from mum and dad" to "from mum"
Sad

I've been given a gopping key ring in the past. It weighed about 2 kg too (slight exaggeration).

Straight in the bin when the back was turned.

Missus got me a Bike subscription a couple of years ago which is still ongoing. Good to flick through during my Saturday morning ablutions.

I got one of them also, it's only just died after a few years of fairly regular use.

Also got the biscuit cutters.

My favourite was motorcycle slippers, I loved them and was gutted when they were worn out.

Sorry, you're wrong. Everything goes in the dishwasher, no exceptions. If it's buggered when it comes out again, that's Darwinism in action, and it goes in the bin. End of. Thumbs Up

I get a "superbike" themed calendar every year from my mum. I've been given a shit Vespa money box and a scooter lamp type thing which was as bad as the money box. Usually get tools from friends and family nowadays.

I also got one of these last Christmas and it is still in regular use.

Someone has made a killing somewhere...

I don't have a problem with getting crappy bike related presents. My lad is also in to same sort of bikes so wife and daughter run any present ideas past him before purchasing. Smile

That should say 'At least some of them have put some thought....'
Some have about the same level of thought as 'I'm buying for a man, so I won't get him the one with flowers on'.
