got home tonight and bike needs a new back tyre.
i have a super duper new tyre ready in the hall.
my dilema is that my car is off the road and needs about 2 hours work to fix.
so i can waste part of a nice day fixing a car i dont like so i can take my wheel and tyre to the fitters.
or i can strap the tyre to the bike and pay through the nose for some git to take the wheel off my bike then fit a tyre then charge me a ton of money for the fun if it.
i already know im going to suck the mop and pay to have the bike and then fix the car on the bank holiday monday.
i just wanted to bitch about it.

Is there nowhere near to the chap you go to for tyre fitting that you could whip the wheel off yourself when you get there?

It's one of the reasons why I have a bike with a single side swingarm and a mainstand.

Although in fairness, I have three back wheels for it too.
