Fixing the bathroom window, which had to come out via the inside. Used the locking mechanism from another spare unit that was handily left around the back, just glad I didn't drop it - heavier than you'd think.

I'm becoming a house bore already, bike is in the garage and hasn't even been looked at!

Got home from the pub last night and tripod cat had returned, sitting miaowing at us from behind the front wall as if to say "How dare you be getting on the piss whilst I have allegedly been lost".

(personally we think she just went to Margate for the bank holiday and forgot to call us and let us know where she was)

Both of us very happy indeed to see her return.
Even if she is back to bitching every time you pick her up, the daft mare.

Also, Phase 2 of the "cheerful pharmaceutical" experiment, during which I re-tested in a more social arena (the pub) was much much better than just doing it on my own.

No notes were taken this time round (!) but I think my poor bloke's ear (adorable and very patient man!) was well and truly talked off Mr. Green

No, not yet, you only achieve house-bore status once you start steering every social conversation you have towards house prices, house price growth and how newcomers are lowering the tone of your neighborhood.

"Cheerful pharmaceutical" question:

Does 5hpt cause extreme flatulence?
(I might have taken a couple this afternoon, under advisement, to counteract any side effects of my little weekend adventure)

But bloody Holland and Barrett, which I almost NEVER go into, its too full of weirdy beardy types - not to mention ridiculously expensive - but they also had a pic-n-mix of things I wanted to put into my shop-bought muesli to make it less boring.

So I bought an expensive bag of dried pineapple, honey coated cashews, goji berries (don't even ask me why because I don't know), and those weird little dried mulberries, cos I have liked them in the past.

But I was on my way to work, so I just nommed about 3/4 of the bag of pic-n-mix cos I hadn't got round to having proper breakfast.

Several hours later, I had a bit of a gut-ache, which I managed to solve by ingesting two apple pies and a caramel McFlurry.

But the farting! Shocked

Is it just cos I went in the weirdy beardy shop, do they only sell things that create flatulence cos that's what their freakster punters expect?

It's fucking annoying. Not smelly, not even noisy, just ... windy.

The NEWS, I haven't laughed so hard in a while. So, long story short, Czech 5-0 got a BMW i8 from the Czech BMW dealer, for free. They were supposed to ''test'' the technology on Czech roads, it was supposed to be a 6 months long test, anyway they crashed the car already. Here's the kicker, there was a civilian person in the car (against the law) and the speculations are that this person was driving when the accident happened.

Comedy gold. Thumbs Up

After a 2 year long course of treatment, I am off to the dentist today to finally have my numerous gaps filled with
dentures. Having had a load of impressions done a couple of months ago. Hopefully I'll look like less of a broken piano afterwards.

Got new job. Thumbs Up

Took a chance, and left my old job and took 6 months off to chill and play on dirt bikes.

Was starting to get a bit twitchy, the 6 months was up weeks ago.

Next step, apart from induction at work, is to organise a new piston for dirt bike. Laughing

The helicopter museum in Weston-super-Mare.
It's worth the entry fee just to get up close and personal with the big scary Hind.

I know Brean like the back of my hand. Thumbs Up A regular ride out of mine. Are you at Brean Down end? That route in
from the main road going through Uphill
is a lovely stretch of tarmac on a bike, quite technical if you are getting a
little bit of a move on. The long straight is 3 figures fun as well, a good time to get by all the dawdlers. Evil or Very Mad

https://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz250/grrthefearless/Brisky%20shots/IMAG2779_zpsjsryhlq6.jpg
I've a good mind to load the dog into the van and head down and meet you for a cheeky pint tomorrow at the Brean
Down Inn, failing that now I've just got the bike insured I could ride down instead. Got fuck all going on tomorrow
other than needing to take the pup out. And it's one of the few places I can find on a bike without needing to plan a
route or see a map. I went to Brean for the whole summer holidays every year from age 3 to about 13/14.
Have some great memories and hit a milestone or two Wink in Brean, which has got a lot to do with why I chose there to propose to mrs grr.

Small world. Know that area like the back of my hand being brought up in W-S-M. Spent many a happy hour walking my old dog along Brean Down with my Grandfather. Exploring the old Napoleonic fort at the end and pretending to sink any ships in the channel. Thumbs Up

My missus is down there at the moment visiting friends with the Grandaughter.
