Or you could say, the two current flagship devices from Samsung and Apple. Samsung royally slammed Apple at their own game (design).

The problem with my friends S6's that after a couple of weeks the home button's faulty so it needs to be replaced. Pass the popcorn

My wife had an S6, I had an S6, my dad had an S6 and my boss has an S6 all of which have lasted the last 2 years with no problems - so my anecdotal tale beats your anecdotal tale by 4-1 Wink

I'm not typing it out again.

Then get on to your bank and report the £326.44 debit as an authorised transaction.

Be patient, be resolute, you never authorised that charge (you didn't, you authorised an entirely different one), the company is refusing to discuss it, and you want it refunded in full immediately.

Better Apple's money in your account with them trying to contact you than the other way around.

What was the sample size used in that data?

They used the warranty repair and total sales data.

I see, so it could be argued that Apple are more generous with warranty repair schemes.

We had a Samsung tablet fail to boot up at just over 2 years old at work, Samsung wanted £50 to just look at it. Samsung store refused point blank to look unless we paid.

My Samsung S5 is working fine.

just saying.

Just checked mine and it's working tip top.

Apple are the masters at packaging underpowered goods in a nice package and then making us all think we need them.

The Imac started it, the Ipod went to another level and then the Iphone took the torch and ran and don't get me started on those shitty Dre Beats headphones too... (Sic)

Most people will buy what people tell them to, that's why advertising companies make so much money.

Every single iphone user I know has replaced at least one screen on their Iphone, I'm yet to crack one Samsung screen in 7 years.

Gorilla Glass as standard. Apple should take note, but then those screen sales must really help boost profits.

Every time I see an Apple device, I die a little inside.

I've broken the screen protector on my S5 before but not the screen.

I kind of like the product because of the compatibility of apps available, including my Remote Support software, plus I've got thousands of songs now in Itunes, so I feel a bit tied in. I'm not a fan of Android and don't like the Windows phones.

I've never actually bought an mp3. Youtube downloader gives me them as MP4 and MP3 files, have them on a non-OS drive with no lock in so they can go on my ipod or phone or usb drive.

Android and IOS are very similar in day to day use. Swipe, tap, swipe tap, scroll tap etc.

I had to bugger about with apple stuff for the first time in ages the other day.

I was trying to put some audiobooks I had acquired onto her phone.

Now on mine OnePlus 2 that is a peice of piss.

Open up FTP and DL them from my server to my phone. (or plug phone in and copy via USB)

Open up Podcast addict and add the folder as a virtual Podcast.

Job done.

It took me nearly an hour to do it buggering about with the fucking shitness that is iTunes.

It's amazing just how spectacularly shit itunes is. I can only assume most people download content directly to their device, which's why they've not really bothered making a user-friendly piece of software. It's probably the only bit of software I have to 'google' solutions for, as there's zero logic employed in iTunes.

Jailbreak if you can Thumbs Up
