After being bought by a liquidator who made noises about selling on the business as a going concern, it seems that they couldn't find anyone daft enough to touch it this time.

So it's now being auctioned off piecemeal. Everything must go!

Is that it finally dead? It seems like a slasher film, it just keeps coming back.

EBR is a business methodology for turning other people's money into quirky bikes that cost more to make than you could ever hope to sell them for.

I really wanted a go on one of the new ones. Nothing at all Harley with EBR as opposed to the older Buell that was bought out and fucked over by Harley.

They got a lot of positive press, comparing favourably against a 1299. Which is impressive.

I'd never even heard of them until chancing upon a group test on Youtube the other day.

Are they any good? Or are the good reviews solely from patriotic Americans?

See the post above yours. They're very good. If you can afford one, get one, I suspect they'll be very collectable in 10 years even if you never push it anywhere near it's limits.

There won't be any support though and because the numbers are so low, I doubt is any third party company is going to invest in making parts for them.

My brother in law had the 1125R and really raved about it but sadly the stupid bastard got into skydiving and sold his bike before I could pinch it for a day. Inconsiderate bald c*nt.

All the more reason some people will garage them up instead of ride them, watch the numbers get even lower as things go bang. Which is a shame, because they were designed to get a hustle on, by a Yank that *gets* corners and racing, not wobbles round on a bit of pig iron.
