Roaming charges are gone (until 29th March 2019) from today. Any bundled data / minutes can be used. Worth checking which countries your provider cover - for some it depends on how your pay ie PAYG Vs contract as to which countries get included.

It's just a subsidy for the upper middle classes, those already wealthy.

How "progressive" Laughing

For years I've just paid the £3 a day with Vodafone, it changed on Vodafone contracts last year, I renewed October and have had it since then.

I'm probably in Europe 4 or 5 weeks of the year so it's great.

The £3 a day thingy also used to work in Turkey. Whereas my son got a text saying calls were 1.75 a minute.

The message could have been simpler. I'm with Three so most countries I can call UK numbers abroad for no extra but the data is limited to 3G.

Is the cost say to a German number when in Germany included in my allowance, as it wouldn't be in the UK; and is the data 4G where available?

Warning to those that use DFDS ferries - They have a marine network that you will connect to if your phone is set to roam whilst on or near the ferry. Tried to charge me £35 for 5mb data.

Whats the matter is fake pro-EU liberals talking as if they are progressive, but voting for socially regressive policies like abolishing roaming changes. Everyone has the right to be socially regressive, but nobody likes a two faced hypocrite.

So you believe all customers collectively should subsidise those who travel the most. Nice to see how weakly you believed in your socialist progressive ideals Laughing Laughing Laughing

I'll be using this in future discussions in politics & current affairs Wink

I haven't seen the price of my phone bill go up for a long time. How am I subsidising anyone else?

I suppose the warranty periods now given thanks to that pesky EU meddling are now being subsidised by everyone also? My God, what a terrible world we live in! Rolling Eyes

I'll party all night and the following day they cap energy & water prices. Wink
