Where do I fit a phone/sat nav mount er6f 2008

Hi all hope someone can help! I'm finding it hard to fit a mount anywhere on the handlebars, how have you fitted yours?

You can get a RAM mount ball that replaces one of the bolts holding the bar clamp. Like this:

Build your own DIY universal mobile phone mount or support system for any mobile phone brand / model. Do you own a Honda CBR 600 RR and cannot find the perfect mount or support system for your mobile phone? Or simply don't want to pay for it? Are a you a DIY lover?

I wasted a lot of time searching for solutions online and offline, but unfortunately I was unsuccessful. What was frustrating is that the Honda CBR 600RR motorcycle does not have any spare space on the handlebar to mount a mobile phone support system or other accessories, other than the fork itself. The fork solution provided by RAM X-Grip was expensive in my opinion and I could not find it in local stores.

Lost and confused I started to search the house for materials. I considered the various locations to fix the mount on my bike. One of the locations was the fuel tank using a magnetic mobile phone case (not recommended due to the flammability of the gasoline...). Another location was between the fork and fuel tank (did not want touch the fairing.

So eventually went with the two screws on the handlebar, the ones located on either side of the fork. I removed the original screws and replaced them with similar allen screws but of longer. I used metallic materials for the conceptual design (preferably use plastic or other non corrosive); if metallic stainless is recommended.

Materials needed:
- Some rubber bands
- x8 screws and bolts
- x2 screws (preferably allen as others on bike are allen)
- x2 flat washers
- x4 90 degree angled metal plates
- x2 flat metal plates
- x2 velcro stripes
- x1 mobile phone case (preferably full case and water proof)

Tools needed:
- Wrench
- Allen key
- Scissors
- Optional: wireless electric screwdriver
