1999 ZX6R No Compression

I bought this 1999 ZX6R and wanted to know how the compression was on the cylinders. Went to Auto Zone and got a $50 compression tester took all the spark plugs out disconnected the fuel pump and the tester is reading 0 on two cylinders and around 28 on the other two. I've never known a compression tester to read a 0 could I be doing something wrong ?

Either that or someone stole your valves.

Test the tester against another motor.
