I have same bike, mine tops about 90-95mph 145-150 km/h, so either your bike is restricted or your power valve is bad regulated maybe.

Im not expert so you better wait for more opinions Wink , meanwhile you could download alainĀ“s nsrtips.doc, it explains a lot of useful things about restriction, power valve and more.

Hi,
If its maxing out at 75mph, something is seriously wrong.
1st, you say it has an arrow exhaust but has it been jetted to suit?
Open up carb & check jets. Sizes are engraved onto them.
Handily, dellorto sell the jets you need in a kit form. (Its listed on their website as nsr125 upgrade kit or something similar)
Next, is the rc working?
When you turn the key can you hear it whirr & reset itself?
& does it move again at over 7000rpm?
Lastly, check cdi & rc control box codes (written on SIDE edge of actual boxes)

Post results.

cheers,
GAZ
PS : I have deliberately left out a compression test, cos I don't want to frighten you with prices if compression is low Smile
