Anyone any experience doing this? Trying to get contacts, messages etc from a Microsoft 950xl to a Samsung S8. Pictures I can do manually via a pc or via OneDrive etc but I'm struggling with contacts and messages. A quick google suggests that it was possible with wm8.1 and earlier versions of windows but doesn't seem possible now.

Kind of confirms why I've moved over to android after years of self inflicted suffering with windows phones.

I did it but I can't remember how, I thonk it was an import tool from google.
I do know that it royally messed-up the fields in the .csv and put all the phone numbers in the 'notes' field which I had to edit all 400 of them individually.

Cheers for the help. Ended up doing the contacts and the photos manually. Found something called mobiletrans but it duplicated everything and the formatting wasn't correct so gave up with it.

Only really wanted the texts to be honest for sentimental value but never mind.
